An asteroid 400 meters in diameter will pass about 384,000 kilometers of Earth in early November. The distance is "short" by astronomers from the U.S. space agency (Nasa). Experts consider the spatial phenomenon as a rare event.
"The approach to Earth of asteroid 2005 YU55 is unusual for short distance and its size. On average, one would expect an object of this size pass so close to 30 years, "said astronomer Don Yeomans.
