Fact About White Discharge Instead Of Period

After quake, tsunami alert was suspended in northeastern Japan

A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.1 struck the northeastern coast of Japan late on Thursday (7) the local time. The quake was felt even in the capital, Tokyo, 400 km from the epicenter, where buildings shook for several seconds.

A tsunami warning was issued by Japanese Meteorological Agency, but raised about an hour and a half later.

The Japanese authorities had asked the residents of coastal regions of the country's northeast to leave the beach and go to higher ground.

Apparently, there was no impact on the damaged nuclear power plant in Fukushima Daiichi shaken by strong earthquake of magnitude 9 , followed by tsunami that devastated coastal regions of the country on March 11, leaving over 28,000 dead and missing.

workers of the plant, trying to avoid a nuclear disaster of major proportions and to stabilize the reactor damaged by the disaster, had the order to leave site, according to TEPCO, which operates the plant.

The prefecture of Miyagi, the most affected by the tsunami of March 11, closed all the roads after the quake.
The earthquake struck at 23h32 local (11:32 GMT) at a depth of 49 km and 66 km from Sendai on the island of Honshu, the main Japanese islands. Initially, the U.S. agency has assessed the magnitude at 7.4 but later revised to 7.1.
