INTERNATIONAL DANCE PROJECT 2009

Welcome!
I still celebrate the success of the recently completed open Summer Dance Workshops scenic decided to repeal the curtain and reveal the first details of Project 2009, we are working on a few months.

will close a two-week summer school of Irish dancing - but the shape is not yet known in Poland.

Every day, more than a week the dancers at all levels, working under the guidance of three outstanding dancers (Shane McAvinchey (Ireland), Sean Beglan (USA) David Bellwood (UK), will hone technique, style and stage presentation working on choreographies prepared by foreign instructors. They will be able to learn different styles of work and artistic visions while working with each of the teachers.

aim of the project will be in 10 days to create a spectacle that will be exhibited in the theater.
present themselves on stage together all the participants and instructors, as well as special guests - and the team Beoga Carrantuohill.

more about the project:

project in its entirety will be devoted entirely to contemporary, Irish dancing on stage.

There will be technical exercises as well as new steps and choreography - all but it will also Plasticized and stage-oriented (type choreography DANCE SHOW).

This is a rare type of workshop, which makes this proposal is attractive and unique, not only in Polish but also in Europe.

Apart from learning the steps and choreography at the workshop will be to learn how to use the steps in the stage, as the choreography of several dancers assemble together to look most impressively, like yourself create interesting choreography. So our proposal is the more interesting for the dancers and teachers of various groups of Irish dancing.

We also plan to address not associated with Irish dancing - but which will help dancers to develop their dancing skills even more - such as the type of fitness classes, classical dance, yoga.

next dance workshops are also planning art workshop under the guidance of Margaret Wilczynska (dancer, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Art), whose participants will worked to create scenery, costumes and worked on designing the proper lighting of the scene.

For whom is this project?

This event is created with a view to both beginners and experienced dancers most of the Polish and foreign. For many of them will be the only chance to appear on stage with one of the true stars of Irish dance and take part in the theater project. We want the final evening was organized with a broad scale, so that for all (those on the stage and those in the audience) was an extraordinary spectacle and a real adventure.

workshop will be both a valuable lesson for people who, every day associated with the scene. Even the dancers, who work under the supervision of certified teachers rarely have the opportunity to practice dancing different than sports.

This workshop will be suitable also for people who want to dance Irish to have fun. At the end of this summer project. Besides hard work in the classroom - we are planning an evening social events, trips, group games and a lot of fun.

addition art workshop organized in a project with one hand will give the participating dancers contribute even better performances in all its stages, on the other hand opens up a world stage and Irish dancing, for those not actively associated with dance. For students of art schools will also be an excellent opportunity to practice and an interesting implementation of the portfolio.
